Subscription Plans
Pandesa ShareSpace™ is offered as an on-demand SaaS (Software as a Service) solution on a subscription basis. Customers are billed monthly based a flat fee per user per month plus variable amount for the size (in MB) of the ShareSpace. The subscription covers configuration, training, maintenance and support. SaaS has a number of significant advantages when compared to traditional perpetual license software:
- Access Anywhere — All you need a web browser.
- Quick deployment — There's no software to install or 'roll-out'. Users just log in and start using the software.
- Freedom of Choice — Since there is no large up-front fee, you are free to switch to a different solution later. You pay by the month, so you're not locked-in.
- Lower up-front cost — An ideal solution for managing cash flow since there are no up-front charges.
- Automatic upgrades — When the software is upgraded, you don't need to 'rollout' the upgrade to your installed base. Instead, the new software is instantly available to all users next time they log in. This also allows the application to evolve more rapidly.
- Reliability & Uptime — No matter how good your IT department is, if you have your own servers/software, then you will experience downtime from time to time. With SaaS solutions, the applications are hosted at huge data centers that have 24/7 monitoring and on-premises experts to keep the servers running. Also, large hosting centers can offer much higher levels of redundancy, including as backup power sources, efficient cooling systems, hardware firewalls, etc. that would not be economically feasible for your own servers.
- Predictable costs — No hidden costs for maintenance, upgrades, service, etc. Its all built-in to the monthly fee.
